Parenting In an Aquarian Age

We are at a crossroads in time right now where we can choose to continue in the way things have always been done, or choose something better, something more conscious.

Now is the time to fully see our children for their intrinsic knowledge. They came here knowing more than we do at this moment. They are of a different time. When our children are babies, every day they will show or teach you just as much, if not more, than you teach them. We must learn to not only listen to our children, but actually trust our children to know how to do things, how to process the world around them. The hardest part is trusting your child to know what may be in their best interests.

From the age of birth to seven, children are nothing but little sponges, absorbing everything that is happening around them. Everything. Every word. Every situation. Every environment. Every face. Every interaction. Every scent. Every thing.

Your child’s subconscious is always taking in information and storing it. There isn’t anything that your subconscious will miss or not ‘save’. This even extends to in utero.

That may sound like a hard statement to process, but there are instances when the mother becomes physically or emotionally distressed & this memory will imprint onto the baby’s subconscious as well!

Now, I am by no means suggesting you lead a quiet reserved life—no one can maintain a feeling if nothing but joy, happiness, & love 24/7. It simply isn’t realistic.

We as humans, are here to feel every emotion & process through it, understand them. Our own emotions, the emotions of those around us, how our emotions affect us & those around us. We are all interconnected as a species. One thought is not your own, but the thought of the collective around you.

Our goal should be to create a rich environment for our children of support, joy, & above all, unconditional love. Our job being a parent, is to be a guide. To light the path before them so they may be able to walk the path themselves. No one lives your life but you. Just like, no matter how hard you may try, you cannot live your child’s life. We must learn how to help guide these beings through on their own journey in this life.

But, how can we ever begin to figure out what in the world our child is interested in?

One way we can do this is by examining the sky at the exact moment your child came into this plane of existence. Astrology is no longer only about reading your weekly horoscope based on where the sun was when you were born.

Now, astrology is showing us that there is a wealth of information packed into these charts. It’s showing us that the sun is important, but there are also other heavy hitters that are massive influencers to your child’s disposition, temperament, & even their interests & goals in life.

Sometimes considered more important than your sun sign is your moon sign—the location of the moon at the moment of birth. The moon represents your emotional body, your emotions. She affects how you will process & emote the feelings you get when you’re interacting with the world around you.

When you combine these traits together, it truly starts to paint a deeper, more vivid picture of your child & their needs. When we learn how to utilize the tools that we have already been given to us, we will open the door to a more loving, authentic relationship with our children based on complete understanding & acceptance.
